This attempt was focussed on trying to reduce the grain in the images, and was developed using the same recipe as attempt 3, but the developer was set at 20.4°C, reduced from 28°C.
Results
Very happy with these, a definite improvement. The images are sharp. Contrast in the negatives was a bit low, and I had to stretch the photos quite a lot in post processing. I’m going to have to think how to improve this without introducing more grain. My small supply of potassium bromide arrived today so I may introduce that in the next try to see of that has any impact on overall contrast.
